bloggers, cocktails and a whole lotta food
Last weekend i went for the London Blogger Meet up. As a new blogger, i’m trying to get myself immersed in this huge ‘blogging community’ and meet ups are an easy and excellent way to start. It was organised by the lovely Lola from Lola’s Little Wonders and held at B-Soho, #LDNBloggerMeetup was an amazing day filled with yummy food, cocktails and socialising with fellow bloggers, i’m so glad i got to attend.
B-Soho is a pizzeria and cocktail bar in Soho. It is a lovely place, split across two floors with a restaurant downstairs and more chilled vibe with live music on the ground floor. The sofas and relaxed atmosphere made it the perfect setting for the meet.
Everyone chilling and socialising from Lola’s post of the event.
The candy corner was my idea of perfection, refreshers, sherbets, percy pigs, jelly beans
…. and marshmallows by boomf .. Yum!
I followed the sweets with these delicious cupcakes by Laura Jane of Choux Pastry, probably the highlight of the night
They were just too pretty to eat, i stared at it for a while
i even took a selfie with it.. however its outwardly glow made it difficult to capture in this image
Told you it was beautiful
Through the course of the meet, there were various competitions to win prizes via Instagram or Twitter, like these eyeshadow palettes
Instructions: Take a selfie to enter, simples!
i even took another shot, to increase my chances of winning
but, i didn’t win 😥
Thankfully, B-Soho do the best deals for Cocktails, 4 for £15, score
that was all I needed to ease the pain of being eye-shadow less
we all got the Tutti Frutti, i’m not sure what was in it.. but it was sweet and had a rum base
and with that i was sold
Honestly, it was soo yummy, the best cocktail i’ve had
Take that! London Cocktail week 🙂
I’m still holding that cupcake *sigh*
After munching on sweets and socialising, it was Pizza time.. i literally ran over there
Food blogger problems
I’ve read soo much about the pizza here, i am so glad it did not disappoint.. Just look at that pizza
Perfectly thin and slightly charred around the edges from being cooked in the fire, topped with molten mozzarella and fresh flavours… the way a pizza is supposed to be
the four cheese was also a favourite amongst everyone.
Four cheeses need i say more
Lola organised a tombola so everyone went home with a present, Suzanna got chocolates from me and i ended up with a trio of beauty products by Soap and glory from Kirsty. We all left with goodie bags with products from Nanshy, Cocoa Brown Tan and Elf Cosmetics. Huge thanks to Lola for organising such a great event, can’t wait for the next one.
B-Soho was such a lovely place and i would definitely return with friends, good food, cocktails, good music
What else do you need!
